1st City Cafe - Nacogdoches

They are consistently very good. Busier today than usual but everything ran very well and the food was outstanding as usual. The waitress was handling the lunch rush today very well. The pacing of the meal was excellent as well and our drinks were never empty.

Food is so good I was surprised for being hotel food definitely a must try if you are in nac that gravy is to die for!

This restaurant has great atmosphere and helpful staff, but if you’re vegetarian there is literally nothing on the menu for you. Grilled cheese or salad without the protein. I wish they would make an effort. It makes it a bummer to eat here.

I used to work here a few years back and the servers were TOP TIER , I’m not sure what has changed or what standards have been lowered but I was saddened by my server Yasmin. She took my order and I seen her again when I asked For my ticket no refills , no asking of how my food was after receiving it from a runner . Thank God for host Farrah she checked in twice and even got refills condiments. Maybe it was a bad day for Yasmin but maybe a retraining of a refresher for her. Farrah would definitely make a killing serving.

We had a party of 11. Mandatory gratuity. If it's mandatory, it's a fee, not a gratuity. Service was ok this time, could have been much better. Must employees are not friendly. This was my second time here. Service makes the experience, so low score.
