If I could give this place more than 5 stars, I would be totally!! Came here on a Saturday night. The service was very good, because we have seats very quickly. The atmosphere was really nice, and I liked the aesthetics of the place. Parking itself was not a problem because there is a large parking space outside the restaurant. As for the food itself, it was so delicious and at such a good price! I ordered the chicken alfredo and it was soooo good. If you are ever in the area, I recommend you check this place!
I'm not from Nacogdoches. The guy in the city visitor center recommended the place. I was a little worried, it could be a Tourist Trap. I can't say it, but I can say I'd like to go back. The atmosphere is casual and funny, but nice enough for Date Night. The table of ladies next to us were a little rough girl night out I guess. We had the shrimp wood cups. They weren't what I expected, but they were very good. I'd recommend it. I had Mama's Spicy Chicken and Shrimp. It was very good. My son had a combo plate. It was very generous and seemingly very good. He didn't share it. One of my Pet Peeves is restaurants with lush beer selection. Aunt Pasta 's has a pretty good beer list including some local brews. When I remember, the beers I had from the Fredonia brewery were. They were decent beers, but above all I had the opportunity to try a new one for me and local brew. Our experience would have been great if it wasn't for the waiting period. It took too long to get our food. Maybe if I wanted to drink more like the ladies next door, I wouldn't have noticed. Our waitress apologized for the long waiting period. She told us there were only two cooks in the kitchen. It was a Tuesday night. My dinner wasn't hot either, my son was. It may have to wait for him! If I could give half stars, I'd probably take half a star away. On the other hand, if it wasn't waiting, it could have been 4.5.
Such a great experience! We came at 7:00 on a Saturday night. It was very busy, but we sat in about 15 minutes. Server was very nice and inclined to our needs (refills on drinks, additional napkins, etc.). The food was fantastic. Great prices, large portion sizes.
What a fantastic little spot to eat! The building is some kind of old railroad warehouse very charming. They have a great variety of Italian foods. Our favorite was the lasagna thick and packed with flavor. This place gets crazy busy at peak hours, so prepare for a wait or go in an off time.
