New Highway Glory. The parking space for the restaurant is located behind the restaurant. It will save you a lot of time and effort if you turn left in the lane where the billboard for New Highway Glory is located. There is an inconspicuous smallish steel door to enter the restaurant premise For a restaurant the property is vast. Open area seating, combined with covered open-air seating is three to four times larger than the restaurant dining hall itself. We had gone fairly early for a lunch on a working day so except for our group there were no other customers. Considering we were early only customers time taken for the starters to arrive was not too hot. The saving grace was the waiter who was very attentive, we being the only customers. For starters, we had ordered potato chips and harabhara. Harabhara was good. Potato chips like any other. For the main course, we had ordered mutton Roganjosh, egg curry and dal tadka. Atta nans, atta phulka and atta tandoor roti were also ordered. The food was tasty and not too spicy. Maybe because we had specifically instructed the waiter that the dishes should not be too spicy( chilly-wise hot). What the dishes gained in being tasty was all lost as they were too oily. There was just TOO much oil. Dal tadka was the only dish with reasonable oil.All in all, it was satisfactory. Worth a second visit only if you do not mind too oily main dishes.
Pros: 1. Very good option for a family outing in the open 2. Tables are well spaced out 3. Service was good 4. Food was good if not excellent 5. Soft music in the background enhanced the experience 6. Ample parking space available Cons: 1. Pl carefully check the ml of liquor they serve you. We suspected our first drink to be short on ml and got our subsequent drinks poured in front of us by walking up to the bar counter. All in all, a safe option for a family outing that will not disappoint you provided you keep an eye on the quantity of liquor they serve you!
