New York Fries - Nanaimo

Recommend staying away from the large size of poutine here. The fries at the bottom turn to mush amid a sea of grease.My friend got the works poutine in a smaller size and it seemed to fair better.Also, none of their “specialty” poutines come with gravy so be sure to add that for an extra charge if you consider it to be crucial to a poutine.For a large poutine to settle out some cravings go spend 4 at Costco and you will come out feeling better.

We got poutine from this place and it was good! I would have liked a little more cheese, though! The cheese to gravy ratio was good but not the best!The employee who billed us was great. He did not make us wait long and was efficient and cheerful!I would like to try the other fries they have but their poutine is definitely worth a try!

They are currently out of the heavy needed for the New Yorker poutine fries, and according to a girl who works there, it won't be available for quite some time.

The young staff members at this restaurant were incredibly rude and displayed racist behavior. While I was waiting to place my order, one of the employees stared at me for five minutes without speaking. I finally had to ask if I could place my order, repeating myself multiple times. He just kept ignoring me. I hope they improve their service, because this experience was disappointing.

My daughter loves getting fries here. She received excellent service.
