Original Joe's - Nanaimo

I really enjoyed the food at this restaurant. The outdoor seating area is lovely and peaceful. The menu has a great selection and the prices are reasonable. Our server forgot to bring a spoon with our meal, but made it up to us by shouting us a dessert as an apology, which was a nice gesture. The cinnamon bun cheesecake was particularly delicious. In terms of style, I would compare this restaurant to Cactus and Browns.

I have been a regular at Original Joe's Nanaimo location for years now. This restaurant has consistently impressed me with its great atmosphere and delicious food. Whether you come in with a group or sit at the bar alone, there is always something happening and friendly people to chat with. The drink selection is diverse and the food is exceptional. I have tried almost everything on the menu and have never been disappointed. The portions are generous and the mashed potatoes are absolutely amazing. I particularly love the Haddock Stack, but everything on the menu is top-notch. The truffle parmesan crisps are a must-try appetizer and even on a bad day, the fries are unbeatable. The staff works hard to ensure your satisfaction and I highly recommend giving this place a try. You won't be disappointed.

My server went out of her to make sure that nothing I had eaten contained. more pleased to hear that their staff went beyond and beyond. was definitely nice to feel received with my heavy allergies

Me and my bf had an amazing time here, we were brought to a table inside but it was to loud for us so we requested a patio table with some heat and our waitress Emily was happy to assist us, one more request was made by us to turn on the patio propane heater and our request was met happily by the manager along with Emily, food was delicious and timing was great, honestly did not want the night to end. Highly recommend this restaurant to anyone wanting good quality food, amazing service and all around good vibes, endless thank you's to the staff and management such an awesome end to our night dining here. Definitely will be returning for future dinners.

Went there recently and was quite amazed by the service provided at joe’s. the first time we come here and spontaneously celebrate our dinner. Apparently this place is very nice for hangout with friends, in groups or with the family and in any case their servings are extreme for fun goers. probably it was a bit of a dream, so we felt so good as if the service was a little slow, maybe from no particular reason, but when the food arrived, we just literally thought out. excellent location, tasty eating and great service all the way. I'll be back at some point when in nanaimo!
