Food was excellent and service efficient and friendly! My wife had a half benny order and...it was very tasty and plentiful (delicious pan fries) . I had a half sandwich and cup of soup...herb chicken with cranberry mayo and a bowl (not cup) of clam chowder. Delicious on both counts Too full to try the fresh baking (carrot cake) that was available. Highly recommend the Grape Leaf....we will be back!
I honestly didn't expect much, and I'm quite picky on food as a former cook, but the owner who runs the café is very pleasant. My friend and I had the chicken and cranberry canyo sandwich with homemade iced tea on the first day. The sandwich was great and the homemade iced tea is the best I ever had. The next morning we went back to breakfast, and the breakfast sandwich made at home Focaccia is the best breakfast sandwich I had (comes with scrambled eggs and your choice of 3 toppings). If I lived here I would just eat on 10 pounds all sandwiches! Service: Dine in Meal Type: Breakfast Price per person: CA$10–20
I was totally blown away here. The food was so very delicious and nutritious. Had the homemade clam chowder and a ham and cheese sandwich. Probably first time ever I got a sandwich from a restaurant where the meat was piled on thicker than all the other ingredients combined. Also had a lemonade iced tea that was tasty and amazing. Place does offer gluten free options. Staff was friendly and outdoor seating is also wonderful.
Simple atmosphere, clean toilets. It is one of those places that serve breakfast menu all day long and offers mainly soup and sandwich. It is vegetarian friendly but vegan cannot find much. Drip Coffee was not so good, too sour and too strong for me, creamer was bad. I ordered a 3 egg 15 dollar omelet and find it to be quite tasteless and yes I did find a 2 long brownish hair from it. I was there 12.30 on their busiest time and place was 75% full. I would recommend this place yes, but giving 5 starts is a lie I think, given by local community and neighbors.
Amazing breakfast with a wide selection of egg dishes and freshly baked goods. The orange juice was freshly squeezed and the coffee was top-notch. The seating area was cozy and inviting for a relaxing dining experience.
