Gilhooleys - Narangba

Value for money, quick service, decent steak and a glass of wine... I'm in! While Gilhooleys won't blow you away with anything spectacularly amazing, it will deliver good, honest pub food at a good price. Steak is always cooked well so I'm happy! I've been back a few times and it always delivers.

In Brisbane for business a week ago. I wondered around aimlessly looking for a feed. I walked in to be greeted by very friendly staff. I ordered a chicken schnitzel. It was the best cooked schnitzel I have ever tasted, accompanied by sensational homemade chips and salad.

As our dinner plans kept being thwarted, we eventually ended up at this venue.It is a pub but had great food, wonderful choice of wines and good atmosphere.There was 6 of us arrived about 7.45 pm and we're seated quickly, by this stage had run out of a few things on menu but when we finally settled food was good.If all else fails this is a good place for dinner.

Love the old decor and dark wood. This visit included two toddlers and full marks to the young man who looked after us. master 3 asked for milkshake and when advised they didnt have milkshake Master 3 asked Why? The young man didnt bat an eyelid...Thats a good question I will look into it!! Well done! He brought colouring and pencils for the children.and he put the screen on with the soccer game for us. Food was great and plentiful. i had a pulled beef hoagie! No Idea what I was getting but it sounded good and it was! Will be back!

Just wanted a quick meal while waiting for an unexpected summer shower to pass. This small & tasty beef in Guinness pie with a pint on the side did the trick. Attentive (but not overly so), efficient, and friendly wait staff helped, too. I'll be back!
