Contribuisci feedbackI fought for it for four months. that was delicious and there is something for everyone. the people were very helpful in providing information about allergens and the service was excellent. the ambiente was beautiful and they sang to me for birthday. I wanted to try the dishes I didn't have in the first night. just one of the best decisions I made. every moment was pleasant.
The highest peak of French gastronomy. les grands buffets is located in the south-east of France and is five kilometers from the exit of the a61 autobahn. it has several rooms and a shaded terrace, but despite the gigantic reception capacity of this restaurant it is always full. it is therefore advisable to make their reservation online six months before their departure or to constantly monitor the availability on the website of the restaurant. their customers come from different places in a circle of 150 km. everything is homemade and is made with selected fresh products. Non-alcoholic and alcoholic drinks are sold incredibly cheaper. they are selected and come from the large French cellars. during their lunch or dinner they see a French gastronomy show. there is nothing to say about the value for money.
Amazing, impeccable professional service that was eating was of very high quality, the buffet concept was great fun. impossible to try everything in view of the range of offers. we will definitely visit again, a unique experience. it was great.
Yep you read the title right. After a small queue at opening time, you are escorted to your table and shown a menu which, I doubt many read due to the fact you can see all the food on display.. I was driving so no...wine for me (which is extra on the price btw). I wandered over to try some of the starters, cold meats etc.. wonderful. I then ventured towards the Duck section.. Now, I have been to Tour d'Argent to try their famous Duck dish (still have the certificate) and then I witness that they have the press here.. I wait for my plate and yup.. it's exactly the same.. I wander back to the dry aged steak section.. The meat was cooked to perfection so I went back again.. I tried some of the lobster and other de la mer offerings, all sublime. I then walked around the cheese section. I think france has between 400 and 1000 types of cheese.. I swear that they are all here. Itried to eat as many as i could but my brain informed me that there was still icecream and other desserts to go.. all in all this is a bizzarre place that shouldn't exist.. 47 euros for this quality of food in an all you can eat scenario is very strange. It does a get a bit hectic as it is a buffet but when you have no time limit then this is not an issue.
I want to point out the poor work of the customer support service and the actual lack of feedback. I had the most amazing experience about my last visit to the restaurant. So I decided to purchase 2 certificates for a couple of my friends...for their birthday in advance. I live an hour from Narbonne. On my first visit to the restaurant, the restaurant manager explained that the purchase can only be made online. Well, I paid for 2 selected certificates, received a confirmation from the restaurant to my email about withdrawing the amount for 2 gift certificates. My bank account was also charged the correct amount for 2 certificates. But the facture for the amount of only one certificate and only one pdf certificate was sent to my account on the restaurant website and to my email. I made phone calls and sent messages to the site. The restaurant phone works like an answering machine, it is not possible to get an answer from an employee. No one has replied to my messages. I had to go to the restaurant again to resolve this issue. But I was told that at the moment there is no one who could help me and this can be resolved in 3 days, since it was a weekend and then a holiday. I had to give a gift to my friend and explain why I had to wait for the second certificate for several days... I am very outraged that my gift was spoiled.... Please take measures to solve my problem and to prevent such unpleasant moments regarding future customers.
