There was no urgency to replenish the salad bar or clean up the salad bar. I wonder if Ribeyes reads any of the reviews because the bathroom didn’t have any paper towels and smelled horrible. Tables need to be clean, and the floor needed to be vacuumed
Got there and found very little toilet paper but WORSE than that ...NO SOAP in the restroom! I wonder if the cooks/wait staff just figure it's ok? Food was highly mediocre!
I personally believe the waiters and waitresses are trying their best. However, I do believe this location is having some major breakdowns in management. I believe our subpar service was partially due to our poor waiter being overloaded with tables and not being helped. Whose idea was it to give 1 waiter a table with 22 people continuing to overload him with more tables? You go to the salad bar, that backs up to the kitchen, and there’s tons of kitchen staff running around back and forth in that area but on the floor, maybe 3 waiters. I digress. Both men and women’s bathrooms smelled like raw sewage. But don’t worry, the air freshener they had going in the women’s made it smell like a floral sewer. Seriously, I hope they’ve got a plumber otw. There’s got to be a leak there. Also, why isn’t there a changing station in either of your bathrooms? It’s 2024 and I’m changing my son in the back of my car? Weird move, Ribeyes. The food here isn’t good enough for this rundown atmosphere. Hopefully they can get it together.
Chicken was very dry. Love their chops. Never again with the chicken!
A group of 5 cousins came from different parts of the country to Nashville was to visit an aunt who was on her death bed. Before parting ways to return to our homes we decided to go to Ribeyes for dinner on May 16th 2024. WE HAD THE WORST EXPERIENCE AND WE ALL LEFT SAYING TO OURSELVES....DID WE EXPERIENCE WHAT WE THINK WE EXPERIENCED? #1. We were seated at a dirty table which took them 10 minutes to wipe. #2. After another 10 minutes they come and wiped our table then we waited another 5 mins for menus. #3. They eventually came and took our order 5 minutes after they left the menues. Water comes around 30 mins after being seated. #4. We watched people be seated around us who came after us with similar size and larger parties who were treated like royalty with orders taken and food served. #5. While waiting, our family was having a discussion wondering are we experiencing what we think we are experiencing? We kept our cool giving the benefit of the doubt but it sure didn't feel good especially when your food never arrives after being told 5 more minutes several times. #6. As God fearing Christians and after waiting an hour only to receive a glass of water, we left money on the table to pay for the water. We, kindly arose from the table and walked out of the restaurant. #7. NO ONE FROM THE STAFF STOPPED US AND ASKED WHY WE WERE LEAVING WHICH IS ANOTHER PROBLEM. #8. Yes, we were extremely disappointed but the silver lining is that we all went to different restaurants on our way to the airport and highways to stop at restaurants where we were treated like gold. We are big tippers, one can expect 20%-50% of the bill depending on the service. Ultimately, we were able to bless restaurants and the wait staff who sincerely didn't mind wanting to serve us. #9. I must say the customers were great! My family and I were puzzled as to how such a diametric atmosphere can coexist. I did not want to make this post but I owed it to my family who should not have been made to feel less than while other around us were treated with the utmost of service. I wrestled with it especially it being in the town of my family roots. Unfortunately, the aunt we came to see passed away weeks later and as I drove into Nashville and saw signs for the restaurant I was reminded to give this review. Hopefully, after this post the restaurant could think about its customer service and the impact it has on business. -ABT
