Contribuisci feedbackIt was amazing! I definitely recommend a reservation. There was a 1.5-hour waiting when we showed up on our 6:00 reservation. The atmosphere was very relaxed and cozy, the food was phenomenal and our server Lizi was very friendly and accommodating. Will definitely come back!
The restaurant in Hard Truth is the best place we visited, restaurant wise, during our week stay in Nashville. We came at night, so I can't really comment on how beautiful the property is, but it's embedded in the forests and I'm sure it's picturesque. The restaurant itself is charming, trendy, clean and comfortable. There is a gift shop and a parcel shop. Of course there is a full bar and also stands and tables. The menu is somewhat limited, but there were many options for whatever you are in the mood for. We've split a huge pulp. She cooked a Bacon berry to order. I have fish and chips. They were served immediately, hot, and they were all delicious. The pommes were crispy and soft in the center. The fish was a high quality cod, light and flocky. The burger was juicy and not overcooked. The service was no longer. Anna was our server and she was friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. She shared the history of hard turkey and was thrilled with everything they do and offer. She made helpful recommendations about the menu and offered samples of beer to help us choose. We also received a flight of samples of different spirits, which in any case led us to leave two bottles in our hands via the package store. I had a dark peanut butter stout and she had a drink called Cream, which was coconut and delicious and came with an edible flower. Both were excellent and practical. We have to go tomorrow, otherwise we'd be back at the distillery. We'll be back next time.
We booked the semi-private 12-person table after our little wedding in Brown County. The staff of the restaurant seemed thrilled to have us there in our wedding dress, and the gentlemen who seem to lead the place came by with a toast for us. The dishes and drinks were amazing, and everyone in our little wedding party was very happy with our choice. I think this will be a regular date night for us and an anniversary tradition.
ABSOLUTELY WORTH IT! Service was impeccable, Connie was the sweetest server! We started signing a pulled pork nachos and I had the fish chips I had HIGHLY RECOMMEND. The atmosphere was great with live music and happy people!
To be sure, it's an amazing piece of property. The outdoor experience can be a lot of fun if there's live music playing. I would pass on eating in the restaurant again though. I understand the hour long wait for a table on the weekend, I think it comes down to the price versus the quality of the food. We spent $30 per person to eat some pulled pork sandwiches in a room without a view. The food came right out, which was a huge surprise. We had to wait another 30 minutes to get some fried biscuits to go. That was also a huge surprise. If we went again, I think I would just grab some food outside
