Hiawatha Pasties - Naubinway

I decided to order two pasties at a very reasonable price and headed outside to enjoy them with my wife. The pasties were hearty meat-filled pastries loaded with potatoes and rutabaga, and they were both delicious and filling enough to eat by hand. I was offered a side of gravy, which I gladly accepted, and I also grabbed some ketchup, as the lady mentioned that some patrons liked it that way. The gravy was incredibly tasty, and the ketchup complemented the pasty perfectly. In summary, if you’ve never had a pasty before, this is the place to go. I felt satisfied and full the entire day!

I made her breakfast pastry this morning, and it was incredible! It had so much flavor and was perfectly sized for breakfast. I've enjoyed her original pastries with the engraving many times, and they are always served hot, flaky, delicious, and generously filled. Absolutely a must-try! The staff is always lovely every time I visit. If you have a sweet tooth, you should definitely try the homemade waffles and ice cream. I highly recommend it!

I’ve never had a better pasty—it was my first one! The service was incredibly warm and welcoming. The ingredients tasted top-notch, and the pasty itself was fantastic. We can’t wait to return! While some areas of the location seem a bit run-down, the friendly staff and delicious food make it worth it.

Wow!! Don't pass this place by. It my be little on the outside but the pasties are big in flavor!! We had the traditional with gravy can't wait to go back

Outstanding!! We drove all over the upper peninsula and tried lots and lots of pasties. These are by far the best! The crust is really, really good and the filling is delicious. Great flavor and not too salty like a lot of other pasties
