East St. Cafe And - Nelson

I adored this place. Super animal friendly, my dog was allowed inside while I had a delicious veggie meal and a cocktail. The atmosphere is the most beautiful I’ve seen in New Zealand. I’ll be back!

We had an amazing experience at this restaurant for the second time! We enjoyed the burger, garbanzo fingers, Buddha bowl, as well as the desserts, coffees, and drinks. Everything was delicious, beautifully presented, and the atmosphere was very cool. I didn't capture enough photos because we couldn't resist digging in. I wish they were open more often so we could visit more frequently. Please consider opening on Sundays!

My partner and I were out for our last night in Nelson and stumbled upon the best meal we had during our visit. We tried the ‘crumbed hot pot’ and ‘kissadeer’ and both dishes were absolutely delicious. The atmosphere and the staff were also amazing. We wish we had found this restaurant earlier! We will definitely be back soon.

Excellent spot for GF and vegan food. Not a vegan myself but definitely still enjoyed the meal. Super quiet when we went but still had a good atmosphere. Friendly staff and good sized portions of food. Definitely recommend it.

Vegan and amazing. Delicious food and super helpful staff. We ended up having all our meals in Nelson with them!! Vicky and Tejas run this place and are very helpful too. Our flight out of Nelson got cancelled after checking in and we were stuck for 8 hours. They graciously agreed to store our bags
