Loka Middle Eastern-mediterranean Bistro

I included some photos of the current menu because it seems that the information available online is outdated. The hours listed on Google are also inaccurate; they close at 7:30 PM on weeknights (or at 7 PM if it's quiet) and at 8:30 PM on Fridays and Saturdays. Everyone was very friendly, and the food was delicious (we got extra halloumi with everything, which I highly recommend). The reason I’m not giving a 5 out of 5 is that it took quite a bit of effort to get the times and orders right, which was a bit frustrating. However, the food and service were fantastic!

The food was absolutely amazing! My partner and I came to Nelson for a mini-vacay and our server Ocea was amazing, she handled working the floor by herself like a pro! Would highly recommend!!

The food here is incredible—it feels like you’ve traveled to one of the best Middle Eastern restaurants without ever leaving Nelson. The atmosphere is laid-back, and the dishes are truly memorable.

The food is amazing and the Gin selection is top shelf. There is limited seating, so plan ahead. The outdoor patio is also nice and the staff is really friendly

Wow! It took me way to long to wander into this Amazing and authentic space. I can honestly say it was well worth the rumours! Stellar martinis, small town service feel, and gorgeous Arabic/Middle Eastern flare! If you want a beautiful dish that is rife with flavour, a quaint Baker Street Nelson experience, and a wonderful visual feast.... try this! The staff know their martinis too
