We decided to order small items like a small cheese pizza, a chicken salad and chicken tsarte. We ordered as soon as we set ourselves and 45 minutes later, our meal came. The pizza was delicious, can't complain about it. We're coming back, just not at the weekend.
Discovered this diamond almost a year ago and go at least once a month and sometimes more. Connie's right to the zucchini, it's the best. They also have the best hot sandwiches, especially the hot roast beef, which simply melts in the mouth. You have to try Di's cake, she makes her herself and they're delicious. My favorite is coconut cream. I often think I should start with Dessert when I'm here, but everything else is so good. If you do not save space for dessert, take a piece of homemade cake with home. DELICIOUS!
You've got to try their deep fried zucchini slabs. Very good pizza too. But ooo the zucchini.
I took my mother and granddaughter there for lunch and was shocked to find that they charged me $1.95 for two glasses (not bottles) of water. I don't know if I'll go back again
The food is... okay. Some things like the boiled chicken are really very good. Every thing I ordered was always lukewarm. The biggest problem I have with the place is several times I was there, you could hear very clearly Di cries at her staff, and a few times was even extremely rude for customers who expressed concerns or had a complaint. Di was even rude to my grandmother when my grandmother mentioned that her food was cold. While I live in the area, and it is a convenient place to eat, I would rather drive one of the additional 15-20 minutes to one of the other restaurants in the area.
