Koya Teppanyaki A La Carte - New Farm

I had my eye on the attempt of this restaurant for a long time, but was concerned, it was just another Japanese restaurant that was somewhat overpriced for regular meals. I was not proved. it is refreshing to find their daily Japanese dishes such as karaage huhn, gyoza, curries, so well made. the potato cake, which came with the bento box, was very fresh and crispy, generous portion size. and the presentation and care that was taken for the removal was very good. the hand taken from the cook was polite and gracious. I hope this restaurant does not fall by chance to Covid-19, please support them!

We have dined to dinner and decided to have the teppanyaki. we started with something thunfisch tataki when I recently discovered this magical dish, and this one has not disappointed. super fresh thunfish, beautiful and soft with a delicious ponzu dressing. for our teppanyaki we had garnel, huh, bark, fried rice and greens. everything was excellent and so well cooked. I usually don't eat chicken legs, but that was so delicious that the cook changed my mind. the fried rice was probably a tad underwhelming, but apart from that it was all delicious. the portions are small and for the cost it is expensive, but they pay for the fun and the theatre of the night. we didn't end the night hungry, but. read more

@kojanewfarm spectacular eating with an amazing teppanyaki chef and professional staff! we decided to dinner at new farm, in brisbane, but wanted a peskatarian meal. after contacting koya via their website and about the possibility to use a menu with salmon, scallops, moreton bay bugs and garnelen (together with the miso suppe, salat, friend rice and green teeeis offered with the Teppanyaki package) they reacted quickly and could help with this change. The eating and service in this restaurant was absolutely amazing, we went on a Monday that was quiet but she earned to be 100% busy. I usually don't write reviews, but I felt these youngs deserve it. very good value for the amount of food, the staff was beautiful, the owners work there and are absolutely beautiful. they can say they care about the quality of food and service. would recommend friends and our family will return! thank you. koya teppanyaki!
