The service at this restaurant is exceptional. The staff are delightful and Richard was incredibly charming. The food is fantastic, the prices are reasonable, and the coffee is excellent! I would highly recommend this place and will definitely be coming back.
My friends and I visited this quaint and friendly village cafe for teas and cakes after a long walk to Hurst Castle between Christmas and New Year. We brought along our very large Labradoodle, Heston, and were warmly welcomed by the staff. The atmosphere was welcoming and we were pleased to see that other customers, including a young boy, were also made to feel at home. The owner's dad even gave the boy a pirate's headscarf, showcasing his impressive pirate impression skills. Overall, top marks for a lovely experience at this charming cafe.
Been twice recently both times greeted with a genuine warm welcome . We had our black lab with us who received an equally warm welcome and a dog biscuit! The breakfast was lovely and the coffee great. So nice to feel so welcome. Already planning our next ‘long walk’ which will get us to Milford about brunch time !
Popped in for a tea and toasted tea cake. Quick service. Lovely Christmas atmosphere from everyone including the guests
