The Raj India - New Forest

This charming little restaurant in Christchurch, New Milton is absolutely picturesque. The staff were incredibly friendly and polite. The prices were reasonable and the portion sizes were generous. The food was delicious and filling. My wife and I ordered a mix curry with lamb, chicken, and prawns, as well as a mixed vegetable dish with two chapattis – it was all very yummy. We washed it down with a cold cobra beer and a refreshing pineapple juice. I would have taken pictures of the food, but I couldn't resist devouring it all before I had the chance.

Excellent meal, as always. really enjoyed it, and wait staff very helpful, thoroughly recommend.

This restaurant is fantastic. The owners are lovely and the food is exceptional. Everything was incredibly fresh and delicious. The high quality of the dishes was evident. It is rare to find restaurants that offer authentic cuisine like this in both Bangladesh and India.

Amazing little place. Been here 30 yrs ago and only the staff have changed. Meats could be better though. Chicken and lamb were a bit thinly sliced. Didn't taste fresh. More processed? Great staff. Recommended.
