Ticino Pizzeria - New Glarus

I ordered a brandy slushie to go with my pizza, and it was fantastic. I also requested breadsticks with our meal, but they never showed up. The waitress didn't charge us for them, but we didn't mind since the pizza was satisfying enough.

The food was delightful, featuring the owner's unique take on Ticino cuisine, which differs from what you might find in that region, but that's not the main focus here. The dishes suit the atmosphere perfectly and are served in generous portions. The true highlight of the restaurant is the owner herself. An older lady took wonderful care of my family, showing extraordinary kindness. She engaged us in conversation, offered us some local cheese when she noticed our interest, and even brought little toys and candy for our children. It was clear she genuinely cared about providing a memorable experience for her guests. This is the kind of place that leaves you feeling warm and fuzzy inside.

One of the best macaroni pizzas I've ever had was at this restaurant. The food is exceptional, and the service is outstanding. The drinks are strong, and the atmosphere is very cozy. They really make it hard to explore other dining options in town, as they are one of the top pizza spots I've experienced in Wisconsin.

My husband and I had the pleasure of dining at Ticino's pizzeria, and, as always, we were not disappointed! The food was fantastic; we enjoyed the bruschetta, house salad, and the pizza special. Everything was fresh, reliable, and just perfect. It's our favorite pizza spot, hands down. But as great as the food was, the service surpassed it! Barbara was truly the best waitress we've ever had—personal, efficient, and a lot of fun. This is why we always make a point to stop at Ticino whenever we're in New Glarus!
