Red 36 - New London

The food was excellent, and the atmosphere was lovely. We visited during the day, but it seems like it would be stunning in the evening as well. The location right by the marina offers plenty of beautiful views. Our only issue was that it was nearly 100 degrees outside, and there were no air conditioning or fans running. Although the space was open, it was so hot that there was no breeze, making it quite uncomfortable to eat as we were sweating profusely. Aside from that, we really enjoyed our experience!

Update: (07/17/2022) We returned for lunch today and had a fantastic experience. The food was excellent this time! My wife ordered the halibut sandwich and I went for the black bean burger, and we had absolutely no leftovers. We sat at a table on the edge of the main bar, enjoying a lovely view and a comfortable ocean breeze. Once again, Red 36 impresses when it comes to atmosphere. We will definitely be back; it will be tough to try other restaurants in Mystic!

The restaurant has a wonderful atmosphere, excellent service, and delicious food. Our waitress was outstanding. We ordered two of each type of oyster, a hot lobster roll, and a wedge salad. The lobster roll was exceptional. Additionally, the views of the marina made the dining experience even more pleasurable.

Lunch was incredible! We were looking g for a new place to eat and this place rocked! Food was very good. Staff was fantastic. The atmosphere and ambiance solid. We will absolutely be back. I ordered the mussles which were spot on. My mom and mother inlaw ordered the hot lobster roll which was great. My son got the fish and chips which I was impressed. We will he back!

Juli 2021 beautiful seating set on the water. good craft beer selection and the lobster roll was amazing! offers, juicy lobster rugged on a buttery brioche roll. Fish-n-chips were perfect, the teig was right and not too thick. the shrimp cocktail was great, huge garnel and the freshest searettich made from scratch. really great service, prices also not too bad.
