Fresh tasting vegan option. Well priced for a large portion!

This was the easiest vegan option in the market and I tried it based on these reviews since there isn’t a description of it and the staff was busy. You can only order a half (quarters aren’t an option) but I finished it all! This has avocado, tomatoes, greens, olives, capers, creamy hummus, and some crumbled vegan cheese. Came out quickly and left me feeling surprisingly full. Updated from previous review on 2022-06-12

Vegan, vegetarian, and gluten free options! The olive salad filling inside was so yummy I could have eaten just that with a spoon!

Must stop for a Vegan Muf! Lots of other good options!

What a wonderful, unexpected, happy discovery! I was 11 days at nola. I would look for a good quality vegan or vegetarian muffuletta. I finally found it here! her own excellent olive salad, greens, the perfect brot (as at central grocery) and delicious. vegetarian adds cheese; vegan adds hummus. great mix of aromas and textures. that's a mom pop shop. juan is the chef. antonia takes over the counterfeit. she was friendly, efficient and expected my needs. also my half muffuletta was too much to eat at once (and I am a great eater) so antonia to take the other part for me. I have eaten veg muffulettas at four other places in nola that I found from googling vegetarian muffuletta new orleans and vegan muffuletta new orleans that I had today were in French quarter restaurants with trips to fit. everyone was okay, but not good. I could eat them, but I didn't really want to. various, they had dry broth; the wrong type of brot; bland, unpleasant olivensalat; too much oil; or were simply gone a couple shared a grilled cheese sandwich and made happy sounds while eating. another customer has eaten a sandwich and said that is so great that I am very happy with alberto. you will.
