It's kinda dimly lit with dark wood brick inside perfect for a hot New Orleans afternoon. It wasn't too busy and the bartender served us quickly and had time to chat a little bit. The cocktails were very good and decently priced. Would definitely drink here again.
Got roofied here a few years back. The bartender was the only one that touched me and my girlfriend's drinks. When we both contacted the bar we informed them of this and when they did get back to us they claimed the camera on that side was broken so they couldn't see what happened. If a trusted male friend hadn't been on his way to pick us up idk what would have happened. Be safe and watch your drinks on both sides of the bars ladies, gentlemen and gentlethems.
One of the best neighborhood bars in the French Quarter by far. The atmosphere is relaxed and chill, the bartenders are always friendly and they have a great craft beer menu. I love that they are dog-friendly too!
Easily my favorite bar in New Orleans. This place represents all the iconic things of being a New Orleans drinking establishment: a cool historic space, locals intermixed with visitors who *actually* know what's good in New Orleans, not stuffy with both high-end and budget-conscious offerings, talented staff that can make virtually any cocktail (serious cocktail, that is. . One of the biggest selections of NA offerings in the city including NA beers, NA cocktails in cans, and now THC/CBD seltzers. Bingo most Thursdays. Kind of in the heart of a lot of cool stuff including Congo Square and Armstrong Park and steps from Bourbon Street and other attractions.
Usually more chill at night. Plenty of seating and a great escape from the quarter bars.
