The food, the service, the atmosphere…EVERYTHING was fantastic! We had their Chargrilled Oysters and WHOA! Whatever combination of ingredients they used on top was addictive! If I could’ve taken some on the plane, I would’ve. Also, ordered a Shrimp Po’Boy that was delicious, as well. Those gulf shrimp are really something to write home about! And one item they had that I hadn’t seen at any other restaurant stop we made was Bayou Rolls! Let’s just say it’s all of “Nawlins” wrapped nicely in an egg roll/spring roll! It was Cajun rice, Crawfish tails, Gulf Shrimp, Andouille Sausage, and Mozzarella and the blend was crazy good! The staff were very friendly and the restaurant was inviting. We’ll be back next time, for sure.
Ordered calamari, cup of gumbo, crawfish, chargrilled oysters, and Cajun pasta. The calamari was crispy and very good. The gumbo was ok. It was made well, I personally prefer a thicker roux. I didn't try the pasta, but my niece said she did enjoy it very much. The crawfish was a medium Cajun flavor. There is just enough heat to taste and a very good flavor. The chargrilled oysters were so tasty. My only regret was that I ordered a half dozen instead of a dozen. I would return just for the oysters. The staff was very friendly, fast, and attentive. The restaurant was clean and had a nice atmosphere.
Service was ok. I thought the crabcakes were small and could have used more of the sauce. The portions were hugh and very filling. My only issue was the food seemed salty buy I'm finding that is a theme here in New Orleans.Food: 4/5
I would give this restaurant a 5 out of 5 rating. Overall, the food was delicious and we didn't encounter any problems. Everything was seasoned well and our server (a tall guy with dark hair) was friendly and patient. We ordered the Shack Crab legs, shrimp, sausage, corn, and potatoes for around $45 to $50. The side salad and fries were also tasty. Our bill came out to around $70. I would definitely consider coming back here, but I am also open to trying other restaurants in New Orleans since there are so many options. I have seen lower prices for the same quality meal at other places. The restaurant is kid-friendly, with plenty of outdoor seating and a second floor. Parking is available on the street (free on Sundays, paid meter parking on other days).
So Amazing! Best crab I've had in awhile. And the server recommended combining all the flavors which was the best decision ever! I'm sad I forgot his name but he was such a great server. Great service..Great food. Great experience. Good prices. Would definitely recommend.Food: 5/5
