The crusts and garnishes were delicious and perfectly spiced—I couldn't get enough! The Jambalayaries are absolutely a MUST-TRY, making for a wonderful addition to the meal. Our waitress provided excellent service and helped us understand how much food people typically order. The outdoor dining experience was also a delight.
We really enjoyed the Coolinary menu. When we made our reservation, we didn't realize that everyone would be seated outside. However, they have plenty of fans, which helped keep things comfortable, and they effectively kept any pests at bay. We sampled a few of their signature cocktails, all of which were excellent. Just a note: be aware of the automatic 5% fee added to the bill for the kitchen staff. So if you tip 20%, your total will end up being 25%. I also tried the "Parmesan Roar," but it was a bit too cheesy for my taste, though it was flavorful. For my appetizer, I ordered the spinach artichoke dip, which had a generous amount of spinach. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our visit.
On my last day in New Orleans, I ordered the boiled platter, and it was incredible! I had never tried crab before, but as a seafood lover, I was thrilled to experience it. While I had been somewhat disappointed by other meals I had ordered, mainly due to their high prices as typical in tourist spots, this dish was a refreshing exception! It was absolutely worth it! For just $19, I received a generous portion of food, and the quality was fantastic! I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting New Orleans who loves seafood, especially crab!
Great food, fantastic service. I love every bite and so glad we finally have to be here after we have seen him on try guys! the boudin was the perfect spicy and followed with a shrimp phon and fried garnelen. then side of the cancer mac and cheese and jambalaya. omg so happy and full. parking was not the best but worth the walk!
Crawfish Rangoons, amazing. Jambalaya, to die for. This place has carved itself into this nook and is always busy. You can complain about a wait but if you are in NOLA and you aren’t waiting, it isn’t worth it. This place is great, highly recommend and props to the Chef and the Boil Pit, none stop business and happy (full bellied) patrons. Keep it up, we’ll be back!
