Desire Oyster - New Orleans

The food was decent. We were a group of four on a Saturday night. Our server, Angie/Angela, had a rather lackluster personality. My husband’s catfish lacked flavor, unfortunately. I enjoyed my shrimp étouffée, but it was way too spicy for me to eat, so I had her pack it up to take home. I froze it in my hotel freezer and later mixed it into a can of soup, which made it more palatable. On a positive note, both of our kids liked their meals. We let them choose some options, and they were happy with their selections.

For the second consecutive year, we have visited for the charbroiled oysters, which are truly delicious and outstanding. The service is consistently excellent. Kantrel, the cook at the oyster bar, always makes sure we’re well taken care of. Food: 5/5

My daughter is obsessed with Alfredo pasta, and she said this was even better than the best pasta she had in Italy! My char-grilled oysters and wedge salad were also amazing! Highly recommend!Food: 5/5

A total disappointment! They were out of two menu items, the yogurt parfait was served warm, the fried food was greasy, and the service was extremely poor!
