The Bahn-mi and pho burrito were indeed delicious, but we chose to eat them at home due to the unsafe environment of the area where this market is located. There were numerous people crowding the entrance, bothering the staff, and creating quite a ruckus. Additionally, the bathroom was lacking basic supplies—there was no toilet paper or soap. A staff member even had to give me a roll from the shelf to share with my partner. If you're craving Vietnamese food in this area, the taste is good, but the safety and cleanliness leave much to be desired.
I have loved Eat-Well for years!Banh mi, pho, yaka mein galore. Very veggie friendly and cheap but delicious. Ask for foods spicy if you'd like but you can't go wrong here.[Tofu banh mi (spicy) and veggie yaka mein with tofu and egg.The workers are very sweet, treat them well!(Bring cash, or a surcharge is added for card. Dine in or take-out.)Vegetarian options: Tofu and vegetable broth available.
Needed to get my yakamein fix. This place did not disappoint. Several interesting Asian items on the menu and in the store, including different beverages in the drinks cooler.Food: 5/5
The food was great. We had the Veggie Patty Po Boy, Tofu Bahn Mi, and theTurkey Po Boy. The bread was fresh. The staff was nice. The store and area was not. The container with the shredded carrots had tongs at the very bottom. Either they reach down in the container to grab your carrots out each time or... they dropped them and just left them in there. Either way... it's gross. We won't be back.
