Faubourg Bistro - New Orleans

One of my favorite bars! Great price drinks! Great bar bites! Mac and cheese bites are the best! The staff is always friendly and funny and full of energy!

We popped into Betty 's as our first stop arriving in NOLA for a long weekend. While it is a cool place (I remember the 700 club), the Bar Tender made it an awkward situation for everyone involved. So, you 're fresh off the plane, checked into your hotel and now you 're ready for a long weekend! What do you do? Grab a drink at a local bar. We headed to Betty 's for exactly that. When we walked in, the bar tender was pretty friendly. We ordered up a drink and it was delivered promptly with no issues. Unfortunately, as time went on, the bar tender who referred to himself as Daddy or Roger kind of ruined the atmosphere. He became somewhat aggressive with some guests and made comments that even prompted a couple of folks to walk out. Not cool. Other than a bar tender who probably needs to hone his professionalism, Betty 's is pretty cool. Well located, well priced, good drinks and a fun atmosphere. We won 't hesitate to come back, but may double check who 's behind the bar first.

Love everything about this place, amazing food (obviously cooked with love). The loaded tots tonight were fab. Always a friendly staff and great music. A local neighborhood joint that you can crawl home to after a fun night

Bartender was super fun and engaging! Food was typical for a bar. A little dark and dirty inside, but that's not surprising for a gay bar.
