(Tell them to put the bun on the side to serve...it's SO juicy with flavor The Vegetable Plate with Cornbread is like a homecoming. Everything was delicious, service was da bomb, and I can't wait to come back. Next time I'm tryin' one of those desserts!
We ordered the boudin appetizer, which came with toasted bread tips, stone mustard, and their homemade pickled cucumbers (not to be confused with regular pickles). For our main course, we shared a Reuben One Eyed Bacon Cheeseburger, accompanied by their homemade pickled okra, coleslaw, and fresh homemade fries. Every bite was absolutely delicious. The restaurant itself was immaculate, and every employee was friendly, attentive, and welcoming. We even saw the hostess step outside to pick up litter from the street, which really impressed us. There’s honestly nothing we could suggest to improve either the food or service. We highly recommend checking them out the next time you’re in downtown!
A local tour guide suggested this restaurant when we asked about the best BBQ shrimp in New Orleans, and he was absolutely spot on. We enjoyed it so much that we returned the next day for their weekend fried chicken and waffle special. Everything we tried was excellent, the drinks were just right, and the staff were delightful. I highly, highly recommend this place!
Fantastic food and excellent service! We found this place based on recommendations from locals, and it did not disappoint. The food was outstanding—flavorful, delicious, and incredibly satisfying. The homemade hot sauce was exactly what I was looking for. The drinks were impressive as well, and the portion sizes were generous. Perfect for sharing, though I'm glad I kept it all to myself! I had the half chicken, and I can't recommend this place enough!
Once again, I've returned to this spot for the fifth time, as it offers my favorite reasonably priced Po' Boy in the Uptown area of New Orleans. I ordered the fried oyster Po' Boy, along with a refreshing ginger-rosemary infused lemonade.
