La Petite Grocery - New Orleans

Pricey? Yes. Worth it? YES! Amazing food, Great cocktails. We got a seat at the bar. Honestly, the whole menu looked great and it was hard to choose, still I had to pick the specials ???? I would order the butternut tart and the beet pie again in aheartbeat. And then I would try to actually order from the regular menu too. My husband would order the steak and ganache again.

I'm not quite sure what to think of this restaurant. When I first arrived well before closing time, the hostess turned me away, refusing to let me dine in, sit at the bar, or even place a to-go order. I left but returned just before closing and was promptly seated by a different hostess. Once I was at my table, the food and service were satisfactory, and I had no further problems.

Unbelieve, top notch service, lovely atmosphere, and one of the best meals we have ever had in NOLA. Everything was so fresh and perfectly cooked with no excessive waiting for anything. Worth the price for a phenomenal birthday dinner. Just a short walkfrom our house too, so we will definitely be back. HIGHLY recommend!

This restaurant offers incredible flavors. My steak was both tender and juicy, accompanied by potatoes and crispy kale—it was absolutely spectacular. The tomato salad was delightful, enhanced by a drizzle of olive oil and sprinkled with sunflower seeds. Everything was delicious. The crab beignets were also fantastic. I would definitely return to New Orleans just for the food!

I rated this restaurant 5 out of 5 stars, but honestly, it's more like 20 out of 5! It was one of the best meals I've ever experienced. The Gumbo and Macaroni were likely the best I've ever tasted in my life. For my main dish, I had the Alligator Bolognese, while my companion ordered the scallops, and both were incredibly delicious. The desserts were genuinely top-notch. I will absolutely be returning. This has officially become my new favorite spot in New Orleans. It’s that amazing!
