Mojo Coffee House - New Orleans

This is definitely my favorite coffee shop in New Orleans, especially at this location. The coffee is delicious, the food is excellent, and the atmosphere is even more appealing than both. There are plenty of tables for working or studying, and the crowd is much more diverse than at the Freret location. It's a fantastic spot to spend the whole day getting things done. I probably spent more time here during my undergraduate years than in the library. The baristas are incredibly friendly as well. I highly recommend it!

I’m so happy to have discovered this hidden gem for many reasons! It has become my go-to spot for studying! I was able to accomplish a lot in just two hours, despite some chatter behind me, which speaks volumes! The staff are friendly, the drinks are affordable, and the space is quite spacious. Although the restroom isn’t gender-specific, it was clean every time I used it. There’s also outdoor seating available, and they do check Covid test results if you choose to sit inside, which is a great safety measure!

At the end of a charming park, this restaurant is a great spot for a quick bite and a coffee. The iced NOLA coffee had just the right amount of sweetness, allowing the flavor of the chicory to shine through. They also happily accommodated my request for oat milk. I ordered a burrito accompanied by their homemade hot sauce. The portion was just right—not too large—and the hot sauce had a pleasant kick without being overwhelmingly spicy; it was more peppery with a gentle heat. The ambiance features dark wood and ample seating, making it a cozy place to relax. I might just stick around for a while!

My sister, who lives nearby, insisted that this is the best coffee shop in the city, and I have to agree—it truly lives up to the hype! They offer fantastic espresso and a variety of coffee choices, including cold brew and pour-overs. The medium espresso drinks are packed with 4 shots, while the large ones contain an impressive 6 shots. There’s plenty of new seating available, perfect for those working on laptops, and there are also a few outdoor tables. The pastries on display were very enticing as well!
