NOLA Restaurant - New Orleans

Came from the city for a friend bday and was gone through the food for the cost. our server was amazing. we were a disturbing party due to lack of planning on some of our party planning and the server took it very graceful and did not skip a beat. coming from a culinary background, I really appreciated it. and the oyster was from this world. thanks to the NOLA staff.

Eating and service was great. Very high. I thought we were eating in a bar.

The service was incompetent and rude. threatening them menus down on the table and were so fast to take boards that they fall utensil several times. try to push drinks, and if they don't order, they hardly came back to their table in the round, extremely unorganized, and wait workers were constantly bumping into each other or screaming over the room. so loud, strange and strange. total 0 out of 5 stars. there are so many better established places to spend their time and money in new orleans.

I don't like cornbread, but my wife ordered it...to me it didn't taste like cornbread...it tasted very good. I ordered the gumbo...my wife ended up eating half of that and would have eaten more if I had let her. The appetizers were followed by Fish Creole and the Garlic Drum fish. Everything was hot, tasty and fork cuttable. This is an Emeril restaurant and showed that it was worthy of when he was the Chef at the Commander's Palace.
