Be careful with this Popeyes, sometimes they will refuse to sell you deals that they have posted in their own windows.

I often order the mac and cheese, but they rarely have it available. Recently, I ordered it for $7.99, plus a 50-cent upgrade for a special drink, and was charged over $16. I wanted to clarify that I didn’t order any extra sides; I only wanted what came with the meal. A few nights ago, my partner tried to stop by just five minutes before closing to get some mac and cheese, but the staff said they were already closed. It was disappointing because my partner was really looking forward to it, and I’m sure they had plenty of food they could have easily given away rather than waste it. The food is usually good, but sometimes the service feels disorganized and uninformed.

The service was a bit slow for the restaurant, but it’s evident they embrace a Louisiana vibe. There were some lively exchanges between staff, but it felt very much in the spirit of Cajun culture, so it was entertaining overall.
