Ralph's On The Park - New Orleans

Service here is almost always fantastic. I also love the room, right opposite the park. It's nice, especially the day you can look at the trees. The food is very delicious and well prepared. My quibble is with the menu. There are 6 Entree options: a vegetarian, two finfish and 3 steaks. Why are half of the elections steak? So if you don't eat steak, the options are limited. The menu changes, so hopefully this is a short-term problem. But a stranger.

Portions seemed a bit small. Main suggestion would be to use a bigger plate for the city park salad, especially if grilled shrimp is added. Too hard to cut salad and de-head and de-tail shrimp on the small rectangular plate. Not enough room. Warm bread should be brought to table before the soup is served. Had to ask for bread, and it did not come before we ate our soup. Loved RATP being open for Lundi Gras! We were not rushed as we visited with guests we had not seen in a long time. Thank you!

Special thanks to Kevin Eric, along with Angel, who helped us enjoy a wonderful brunch. Their over the top attention made the afternoon even more pleasurable. The Banana Foster King Cake, we purchased brought home, was an added bonus. Looking forward to our next time!!!

Great service and food. Lovely setting. Perfect spot for brunch.
