Rib Room - New Orleans

Very good. Got lost on the way to the bathroom and had the chance to walk around and see the many levels, hidden rooms and beautiful architecture of the building. Went with a group of coworkers and was surprised to see there was no ribs on the menu. The steak and banana pudding were delicious.

What a GREAT dinner! it was my friend birthday and we decided on the rib room. I'm a native and we've already eaten there, the birthday boy was from the city. when we arrived there we got a table in the window (I have never sat in the window, but all the tables are good, it is such a nice room.) the waiter of judgeenel, was friendly, helpful, informatiw and fantastic! he knew eating well and helped us make decisions. after dinner he brought us to the wine bars, so we could see the special things that only the old hotels in the French quarter have to offer. also here I am a native, and in new orleans we have many excellent restaurants, but the Rib room was the best! all the people working there have done their best to make everyone happy and enjoy the special night.

Pleasantly surprised. Prime rib and mashed potatoes were great. I was seated quickly for dinner despite not having a reservation. Hostess and waitress were very pleasant. Worth coming back.

Rib Room is a great option for a romantic dinner! Be sure to make a reservation as not doing so could mean you don't get in, even during the week. Their grilled asparagus is quite nice. The ribeye filet were cooked to perfection like butter! The after dinner coffee was so good. The banana pudding creme brule was good. When you go see if you can find Mr. Frank Xteel ask him to do a poem if the manager doesn't mind. He made our experience that much better with the romantic poem he did for us! He's an employee worth keeping because he makes the ambiance experience such a pleasant one!

Anniversary dinner (but only had happy birthday toppers) ... easily one of the best restaurant meals I’ve eaten in my entire life. The staff was attentive, on point with refills, and suggestions, and the sides/portions were great. Would recommend for a night on the town with that special someone... or if you just like really great food.
