Vacherie - New Orleans

The food was decent, but we found a metal wire in our burger meat, which we actually ended up chewing on—it could have caused some serious injury. On a positive note, the flavor was enjoyable and the service was even better.

Located just off Bourbon Street, the hotel restaurant offers delicious shrimp and catfish, although they could use a little less salt. The gumbo was fantastic! Sarah provided friendly and excellent service.

Charming little restaurant and bar with an excellent waitstaff and bartender. The food exceeded our expectations; it was delicious. We had the blackened fish, and I tried boudin for the first time, which ended up being something we craved for the rest of our trip.

Recently had a great breakfast experience at Vacherie to start off a morning of touring the Quarter. We had the eggs, grits, and hash browns as well as coffee. All items came out at the perfect temperature and were very tasty. Jose provided us with a stellar customer service experience that helped contribute to the start of a wonderful and memorable morning in the historic FQ. He gave us several recommendations of things to do and even provided us some insight to the history of this fascinating City! Looking forward to returning to Vacherie.

A cheap and good restaurant, right in the center of New Orleans. The team is very friendly, the sandwiches delicious and generous.
