My first try at French food in NYC and we didn't do so bad. The price was right, the food was good and the service was great.
The money was worth every dollar, my husband loved his burger, chicken dinner I got was beautifully cooked, the frites were perfect crispy morsels. I took a chance and ordered extra onion soups, so I have 2 more lunches in the fridge, ahhhhh!!!
Honestly VERY disappointed in this entire order, the only thing that gets a pass is the Rasberry Margarita. The Escargots de Bourgogne were the worst I've ever had and the bread that came with it was almost all burnt, out of about 8 pieces of bread only 2 werent completely burnt all the way through. The Passion Fruit Pina Colada was not a piña colada at all. As a bartender I was completely shocked to see a rotted maraschino cherry after drinking what was already a very separated, bad tasting drink. In my 5 years as a bartender ive never seen a rotted maraschino cherry at my place of work because they're so easy to preserve as long as they're refrigerated properly. Lastly for the Le Demi Poulet Roti Maison it shows fingerling potatoes in the picture with the roasted chicken, and string beans and says that it comes with garlic fries, they sent regular cut fries with some garlic. The other items from the picture and description were accurate though.
Mousse de Foie Gras and Frisee aux Lardons are very good. So are the Soupe a l'Oignon and the Boeuf Bourguignon. However, eat them when your fat, cholesterol and sodium intake have not been high in the recent past.
