I enjoyed a whole rotisserie chicken with yellow rice at Flor de Mayo. It was scrumptious, delicious, and amazing—absolutely finger-licking good! Do I need to say more? The waitstaff ensured my glass of ice water was always full. I can't wait to go back to this Chinese-Peruvian restaurant!

I hadn't visited this place in years, and I was disappointed to find that my favorite, the steak sandwich, is no longer on the menu. Instead, I ordered a few Nutcrackers, chicharrón de pollo, and some yuca frita. The food was excellent, and the drinks were incredibly strong. I really appreciate the unique blend of Peruvian and Asian cuisine here. This restaurant remains a standout experience.

Good food and a pleasant atmosphere! As a vegetarian, I was initially uncertain if there would be options for me, but they offered Lomo Tofu. Unfortunately, the tofu was quite bland, which is typical at many places that don't invest time in making it flavorful. My husband, however, really enjoyed his lomo saltado steak. The piña colada had just the right amount of alcohol to give you a nice buzz. The food arrived fairly quickly. One downside: the bathroom didn't have any hand soap. Most menu items are priced around $20, so you can expect to spend between $40 and $50 per person for a meal and a drink, with appetizers not included in that total.

Very popular eatery on the UWS. Billed as Chinese-Peruvian, but more Peruvian than Chinese. Everything we ate was delicious.

I am Peruvian. This is good ?comida casera?. I enjoyed the Lomo Saltado the pollo a la brasa with plantains (pictured). Latin comfort food. Portions are large!! Good for sharing. I don?t recommend the ceviche mixto ?it?s a far cry from the classic Peruvian ceviche mixto. Not enough lime, and the onions were cut way too thick, fish used for the ceviche was just ok. Was disappointed in that dish. But the hot plates are good! I?d come back for more chicken to try the chifa!
