Classic French bistro. The restaurant is small but the vibe is great. The food is good, the service is great. Laid back and comfortable. Love the staff.Recommend the steak frites and French onion soup. The wine could be better.
Zero stars for this restaurant. Made a reservation for dinner on my birthday and they canceled it. Poor communication, poor customer service, not worth the hype. Save your money and go elsewhere, there are far better places in the area.
Food here is great but had an unfortunate experience. Had a reservation for 9:15, arrived on time and was told there would be a 15 minute wait. Other parties with later reservations were coming in and getting prioritized which was so weird. We waited for 30 minutes before being offered a drink on the house from the bar. In total, we waited an hour (10:15, really late for dinner and we were starving). I understand it’s a small place but later reservations and walkins were getting seated before us. Too many other good restaurants in New York to repeat a place that can’t get there stuff together
This is a restaurant that aspires to embody the essence of a French bistro. The wine was excellent but excessively pricey. When we requested bread to accompany the ratatouille, they had nothing to offer except some form of crouton. What kind of bistro doesn't have baguette? The steak frites, priced at $46, were far from worth it a mediocre piece of meat served with three sauces: ketchup, mayonnaise, and a bearnaise sauce that tasted solely like butter. However, the service was good.
