Shabu Tatsu East Village - New York

Their sukiyaki is excellent! I highly recommend it! We ordered two prime ribeyes, which were delectable. The roasted duck as an appetizer is also a great option. We arrived at 5:15 PM without a reservation.

I work in the food industry as well, and I understand that everyone has bad days. I usually keep quiet to preserve my energy, but I believe that having a bad attitude is not acceptable. I want to clarify that I didn’t show any attitude towards him while he was taking our order. I'm just sharing this feedback for the restaurant to consider.

A solid 7.8/10Food was good and service was quick but felt a little rushed out.The appetizers were delicious but side dishes/entrees were not as strong.

I recently visited this restaurant with high hopes but unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory due to the incredibly poor service I encountered. The behavior of the servers was nothing short of rude. Even though it was only around 9 pm, a reasonable hour for dining, the staff started whisking away our plates while we were still in the process of enjoying our meal. Even after we reminded the servers several times, they insisted on doing so. Moreover, when my party requested a table switch to indoor dining, no one attended to our request. These impolite acts made us feel rushed and unrespected.Overall, the food is 4/5, while I would rate the service 1/5.
