The Palm Tribeca - New York

Yelp got it right again with this rating A little Too cliché for me with the tradition steakhouse vibe.

7/10 I was in need of a sports bar that served more than just bar food.

This Palm is located on the borderlands between Tribeca and Battery Park City.

This was my first time at Pampano. Overall it was great. Portions of food might have been a little smaller than expected but was delicious, and we really wish that happy hour was not just at the bar. But it's all good.

After giving us only the options of 7:15 or 7:45, not 7:30 as we wanted. When we arrived for our 7:15 reservation they kept us waiting half an hour. Although they were apologetic, they did not offer us a free after dinner coffee or any other sort of tangible apology. That kind of service does not encourage a return visit. The rest of the service was good, other than the waiter trying to suggest the Dom Perignon Champagne for $350 (he didn't tell us the price).
