Had a turkey egg and cheese that had a healthy serving of turkey. The people behind the counter were very nice.

The new owners are super friendly. The food is better than ever. Super clean. My favorite spot for breakfast/ lunch in Newark.

Was disappointed to learn that this establishment changed hands. However, I would give it a try. In the past, this was an old school blast from the past with the Nonnas cooking old school classic.The Nonnas are gone, the neighborhood has changed, and so, has the charm that this Cafe had.They've done a nice job, sprucing the place up. A few tweaks here and there..The pork roll/Taylor ham sandwich just isn't the same. I also ordered a chicken cutlet/Mozz/peppers/balsamic for lunch. I haven't tried it yet...Btw Prices have increased a little, but what hasn't.If I'm in the neighborhood, I would stop again but won't go out of my way anymore when I am headed to the airport with time to kill.
