The Social - NEWCASTLE WEST

Have only had coffee here and it was over 12 months ago so would suggest a more recent review from anyone going there. Don't be put off by part of town it's located.

I was pleasantly surprised to discover this small restaurant while waiting for some photos. The staff member working there was very friendly and accommodating. The service was a bit slow, but there was only one person working and it was busy! I ordered a latte, and my children got a caramel slice and a blueberry muffin. Everything was delicious and reasonably priced. We paid $13 for three items. There was also seating in the back that was child-friendly, which was a big plus for us. The kids were entertained with books and dominoes. We will definitely be returning!

Simple lever style coffee systems perfectly complimented by the best of baristas. The food is fresh, tasty and simple.

Friendly service without being over the top, The coffee is great and they also make the best babyccinos.

The coffee is fantastic and the staff always friendly. I adore the ambiance and concept of the restaurant. The coffee-to-go window is a great touch :)
