The Reach Kitchen - Newham

In spite of my legendary lack of direction, I attempted to use GPS on my phone to find The Reach restaurant. It was a challenge, as Google Maps and a printed sheet I had were not much help due to the inaccurate topography on the website. I learned that The Reach Bar website was actually more reliable than Google Maps. Despite the cold, wet, and windy weather, I persevered through East London's largest roundabout to find the restaurant. Communication with my dining companions through Twitter was not ideal, but they provided intermittent messages of support. Hindsight can be a cruel mistress.

First discovered this gem on a Friday when on a business trip. Food is amazing (especially the lasagna! . Staff are amazing and live music on Friday is the perfect end to the week!

I've been here a number of times now, always a nice atmosphere and the food is great! They offer a delicious Sunday lunch. A little out of the way for some but worth the effort for great food and a great time.

Found this lovely place just off the river. Fantastic selection of beer and great atmosphere! Will defiantly be heading back.

This is an amazing find. A very good pub that serves exceptional food and the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. If you are visiting the Excel arena it is worth the DLR ride out to visit this gem.
