Abby's Legendary Pizza - Newport

Customer service was amazing. The young lady had to turn us off our first night in town because they were closed early. But we came back, she remembered us and even apologized that she had to turn us away for the first time. It wasn't her fault that the store creators adapted for these days, but she was friendly and I guess that more then everything

The garlic breadsticks arrived as raw dough, completely uncooked. The pizza was served without any sauce or cheese. It seems that "legendary" at this place actually means "not good."

I expected the pizza to look like the pictures, with large pepperonis, but instead, I got a small pizza for $28 with no toppings.

The pizza was hot and delicious, and the fresh salad was absolutely delightful.

We've been dining here for 40 years! We love the classic, old-school style of pizza. The cake we had last night was fantastic—loaded with toppings and served hot and fresh. It reminds us of the good old days at Shakey's!
