Service was great as soon as we walked in the door, and we were seated quickly despite not having a reservation (I suggest parties larger than 2 definitely make reservations because it was very busy). Our waitress was lovely and helped us pick from the menu, she had great suggestions. As someone who doesn't partake in alcohol but enjoys fun drinks, I asked her if they had any mocktails to which she took it upon herself to have something crafted up special for me. You don't get that kind of service most places and I really appreciated it.Having just moved from further south where tomatoes are pridefully green, Kismet's fried green tomatoes were outstanding! I've never had any breaded and fried as well as theirs. I enjoyed an order of them with a side salad (house made dressings were to die for), my partner got the ribeye steak and cleaned his entire plate.Overall the experience was lovely and I feel lucky to be within a short stroll of Kismet. I can see now what all the (rightfully deserved) hype was all about.
Always a good meal. Servers are always pleasant and attentive. We have never been disappointed with a meal. Pizza/wine night (Tuesday) is a favorite. The pork chop (special) is always delicious! The fried oysters or fried green tomatoes are always great choices for starters. My only criticism is the main dining room can get really loud and can make conversation difficult.
We came on prime rib night. The prime was perfect, especially paired with the Ghostrunner red. For appetizers we had the deviled eggs, the caprese, and the pizza. Everything was absolutely delicious. Our server was Emily McDonald and she was a delight. She obviously enjoys her job and working with customers because she smiled and made our experience fun. Most definitely recommend for a laid back, fun, and delicious dining experience.
Kismtt was the perfect place to have our Annual Ladies Night Out. This establisment aimed to please 23 average 40 up neighborhood Ladies Night Out. The service was superior, the food and crafted drinks were amazing. The staff was very patient with an over zealous....should I say...can be down right loud, but having a good time group of women. The food was amazing right down to the burgers, pizza, seared Scallops and creme brulee which would put Paris to shame, not to mention the Krispy Creme Doughnut Bread Pudding. Atmosphere is white tablecloth yet not stuffy atmosphere which is very inviting. I highly recommend Kismet Bistro for good quality fresh artisan crafted dishes. Kismet also offers a wide selection of wines and beers. I especially enjoyed a Voignier by the glass as this is rare in most restaurants. Thank you to all the staff at Kismet Bistro from the Ladies of Carrisbrooke for a wonderful evening tonight!
I love Hilton Village and a bestie weekend found us here on Sunday. We arrived at 11 and were promptly seated. Bestie settled on a frittata and potatoes, I had the Italian Sub pizza with potatoes and hubby had the star of the show: breakfast pizza. Both the sub pizza and frittata lacked flavor but the potatoes I would eat a pizza sized serving of. Hubby was sweet enough to share his breakfast pizza. I don't get over this way often and if I did again, I'm not sure I would visit again. Also, I ordered a Mango Belllini-in my entire dining life I have never sent anything back nor have I asked to have an item removed from a bill. The Bellini didn't taste one bit like mango but it was a whole lot of champagne taste. They were kind enough to remove it. If they had offered an alternative, I would have considered that option.
