Cheeky Poke - Newstead

Unfortunately, when I went back today, the service was slow and some tables that arrived after us were served before us. Only half of our meals came out and they were already finished.

I absolutely love this place! I have visited three times and every time I forget to take a picture of my food before I finish it all. The staff are very knowledgeable about cross contamination, which is important for me as I have Coeliac disease.

I had a great experience with my custom poke bowl at this restaurant. It was made with fresh and tasty ingredients, and I have no complaints. I would definitely order it again.

Only went for the Butterbing cookie sandwiches and they did not disappoint! Shared the vanilla bean, salted caramel and peanut butter. Can be ordered with icecream but really don't need it.Do yourself a favour and try to stop at one.

I went here yesterday with a friend and was recommended the nori tacos.  I ordered 3 the kingfish, octopus and wagyu beef (pictured).  All three were delicious, fresh and light, and cost $20.  The edamame with the chilli salt were great as well.  The decor was modern and light, with exposed concrete and timber theme, and the dining area was spacious. Reasonably priced, and well worth a visit if you're in the area.  Shame you can't give half stars as this place would have scored 4.5.
