Zack Garvin’s - Newton

We arrived a few min after opening. It was about 1/2 full and plenty of opened seating, so we thought we would get good service. We were brought drinks pretty quickly after being sat. It took 40 min before a waitress came to take our orders. It was another 20 min before appetizers came them another 20 before we got out meals. I know lunch is a busy time, but 1 hr 20 min just to be served a meal when we were there early and there weren't very many customers. We were there 1 3/4 hrs. The food was okay. I got the chicken salad croissant. The croissant was good. The chicken salad didn't taste like it had any seasoning. The fries were a little undercooked. A little disappointed in that I have heard the food was great. If I go again, I may try a burger or the steak.

The steak and red fish specials were fantastic!!! The crab cakes served with the specials made the dish. Our waitress was so sweet and tentative. It was a great date night. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner

Always professional staff and delicious cuisine. Their lunch menu is great, the quality is above par, and it’s all very affordable. Don’t skip out on supper either! The strawberry butter is unforgettable. I’ve never heard anything but satisfaction out of anyone who has dined at Zack’s!
