Bliss & Chips - Newtown

So tasty! So nice to have a vegan version of my old favourite foods! Amazing service too and in the prime location, will definitely be back again !

Bliss and chips are great and the owner and workers are friendly and super helpful. The meal options are endless, they can do almost all of your greasy faves. So far I've tried the Pluto pup, deep fried jokers bar, butter chicken burger and the garlic prawn burger - and a bit of my friend's "egg" on his Aussie burger. Everything is filling, tasty and amazing. It maybe on the exxy side, but it's excusable considering their opening times, location, and the awesome ingredients used. Seriously worth it if you're looking to treat yourself.

The food is absolutely fabulous. The improvised, innovative vegan spread is tasty, light, healthy and lickolicious. I enjoyed having sweet potato wedges, fish & chips with aioli dip and garlic prawn lebanese wrap packed with vegetables. I wonder if they sell grilled vegetables as an option for the wraps! ????.

Fantastic, friendly service and mind blowing seafood substitutes. The texture of the fish, prawns, calamari, crab and chicken are so close to the real thing it might as well be. Out of the 7 days we stayed in Newtown, my friends and I ate from here every chance we could get. Can't wait to come back.

Friends of mine came in the other day, but unfortunately, our group of 7 ended up splitting up for lunch because there was a real craving for meat after some seriously exhausting physical training.   I came back today out of pure fascination and curiousity!If you dont already know, this place specialises in meat substitutes specialising in vegan only, gluten free meals.   I actually took home a Fisherman's Basket and "Chicken" burger for my housemates and didnt tell them they werent meat.  They absolutely loved it and could not tell the difference after I told them afterwards what they just had.   It's amazing - and the "fishless" (I hope I have that right) has zero calories which is perfect for those looking to do some super calorie reduction to get back that summer body!    I'm really in love with this place after that meal!   This is one of those places that shape what we love about Newtown!
