First, the waitress said to come back later, because the cook was not yet back. The restaurant should have been open and it was raining, so that was not a good start. But we did come back and it was well worth it: the food was very well spiced without being too hot. I had samosas, lentils sauteed with cumin seeds and Gulab Jamun: balls with dried fruit. I can recommend them all. Only the vegan mains are indicated, but the waitress told me which starters and desserts were vegan once she heard I was vegan. We were the only ones in the restaurant most of the time on a Saturday evening, they deserve more clients.
Amazing! Everything is GF except for the naan- they'll let you know right away if you ask. Owner/chef is lovely and probably serving. Delicious and will customize to spice preference. Right in Old Nice, but a quiet side street with very pleasant outdoor seating. Ideal! GF fryer also!
Loved it! Had chicken biryani and papadom. Everything’s is GF except for samosas and naan.
After reading one of the reviews for this place, I expected terrible service and bland food. but my food was to end, perfect for me. my server was aware of the vegan requirements and was very friendly. I decided to sit in the terrace because I read that the owner would like to smoke inside (I could have eaten inside, like almost all people on the street smoke lol). I make this a little too expensive here, but I enjoyed my meal (and very tiny glass wein). I made a reservation as it was mentioned on their website. I was shocked that this place was completely empty, except me, on a Friday night.
