Akira, The Art Of Sushi And Teppanyaki

Very bad service. Serving time took more than 30mins.

I decided to try this restaurant when I was in the area and I was a little disappointed by it. I guess I was expecting more seeing how full it was during lunch time. I find it a little expensive for what it was and you can definitely find better deals and food quality in other Japanese restaurants throughout the city. I ordered a bento box so I could try a little bit of everything. First disappointment was the rice. I LOVE Japanese rice and to my surprise, it was just regular rice. The Teriyaki salmon was too cooked for my liking so the fish was dry and hard. And I found the hot food served cold and the cold food, such as the sushi, was served warm. There were also a few flies in the restaurant and the waiters were not doing anything about it. It's not a bad restaurant but there are just better places out there.

Very good quality food, though they just put the prices up and its now quite expensive. Service can be hit-and-miss but mostly hit. Akira Maki are very good as are the soft shell w cheese!

It's pricey but the food is very good. Teriyaki and Soft Shell Crab Maki is a must try!

When you go here, make sure you're full because their service is so slow
