I get uncomfortable vibes from them. this guy always gives me dirty looks. also their food is sometimes undercooked. and i once found a hair in my flake

Friday night take away, never again! Service is friendly and staff polite, we rang our order through and collected it and brought it home. It was **** terrible. The fish was dry, the potato cakes thick and caked in batter, we couldn't eat them, same for the scallops , revolting. We won't be going back, time to try one of the other fish and chip shops in the area.

We have been going to Bourke's for years but have been noticing a decline for some time and after our last take away, doubt we will go back again. The flake was coated in batter so thick and gluggy it was inedible, potato cakes were just tasteless, and scallops soggy, very disappointing indeed. Chips and dim sims ok and the service is good, staff are always friendly and food ready when ordered, on time. We ordered our meal for 5, coming in at just under $60 , so not a bargain, at with most of it pretty awful, we will be trying elsewhere for our Friday night take away.
